Lindsay has been teaching yoga for twelve years. Several years ago, she closed the doors to Jiva Studio, which she owned and taught at for almost three years.
She teaches high school
English during the day and teaches yoga as her passion. She has a history in the fitness and health club
industry. She has established a strong clientele in the athletic
community of Kansas City. She believes the benefits of yoga brings growth and
balance in spirit, mind, and body and can change your life in many
dimensions.
She has trained intensively with Kathleen Kastner
and Wade Mortenson of Maya Yoga. She has completed workshops with Tim
Miller, Mark Blanchard, Ana Forrest and Bryan Kest to further
her expertise in adjustments, sequencing, and new styles of teaching.
She has completed a 30 hour training in Ashtanga Yoga and continues to
be dedicated to her self-practice.
